Jesus Gasca introduced the Globus Chair in 1994 and it quickly became a design classic. It is used in restaurants, residential rooms, public places and most recently was installed as the seating atSantiago Calatrava’s new pavilion at the Milwaukee Art Museum. (I would love to visit there some day!) I love the curves on this chair. I think its the perfect restaurant chair! Bravo.
Sidenote- In 2002 Options Magazine said that the 3 essentials in creating a great dining experience is the Globus chair, the Milano table and the classic Arco floor lamp.
