Organizing 107 (Sewing and Craft Rooms)

I am not a sewer and I don't do a whole lot of crafts but one of my goals this year is to do more hands on projects. A craft room would be ideal and an organized craft room would be a must. Here are some rooms that should inspire all of us.
Love the color Pallet. It makes organizing look fun:)

Clean and Simple.
What a great idea to hang ribbons and paper.
This sophisticated office is highly organized and looks like it would be easy to keep clean with all of the specific locations for your stuff.
You can take this anywhere you need it.
This is filed in my favorites for eye candy! Cindy from Quaint Handmade is creatively fabulous!!
Cindy's sewing area is so "quaint". What a delightful space.
This would be anyones dream space. I love the mix of styles of furniture. The ribbon on the wall is clever. Lovely:)
Studio : Bookcase by quaint handmade.
This book shelve is put together so well with all of the specific locations for magazines, fabric and books.
Shelves, Magnetic Rack, Ribbon Rack, Tools - North East Corner by Crafty Intentions.
An organized space like this would take a few days to create but it would be so well worth it! You would always know where your items are.
sewing corner 07 by creativelittledaisy.
Perfect idea for an inspiration board/ storage board.

Love the thread wall. Check out the rest of this space here.
A good workspace needs specific locations for sewing, working and organizing.

Lovely Jeanine

A few weeks ago Jeanine from AphroChic and I did an over the phone interview for a new series that she is doing on her wonderful blog. It was so fun! Jeanine is such a delightful person and I am so happy to have made a new friend:) Check out the interview here.

The sun is shining! (At least it is over here.)

Yesterday is behind us and the new week has begun and what a lovely week it is going to be! Here are a few images from Mark Lund (via Ruby) that are quite cheery to begin this new week with.
Remember when I asked you what I should do with the cute paper that I bought and didn't quite know what to do? Well, you gave me some great ideas.
I loved the mobile idea from Tal. Such a cute way to display all of the patterns. The covered letter idea fromSmyrna Townie would look adorable in my playroom. {J} suggested a lovely idea including the instructions to make paper frames. ( I never expect anything less then creatively perfect from {J}.) Priscilla suggested my hubby do something with it to add texture in his art and maybe give it away in the next SG giveaway. (Not a bad idea!)Elizabeth gave me a few splendid ideas including covering drawer fronts, making envelopes and or using them as backdrops for an inspiration board. (I LOVE the drawer idea. The butterflies would look perfect.) I knew that I would get some fab ideas from all of you. Now I really don't know what to do. I might just have to try all of these ideas!

Blissful Images

Yay for Blissful ImagesMrs. French just opened up her Etsy shop and I am digging all of the art! Every piece! Good job Mrs. French:)

Pia Jane Bijkerk

Pia Jane Bijkerk is a stylist, photographer and writer. Her portfolio is packed full. I have been reading her blog for awhile now and just recently stumbled upon her portfolio. She is extremely talented. I have no doubts that we will see much more of Pia!!

Fun Stuff

Happy Thursday Everyone! I just got home from DC last night so I'm trying to get back in the swing of things.
My cousin Tracy and I went shopping while I was there. One of the shops we went to was West Elm in downtown DC. I loved the building its in and the whole setup was very cool. It definitely exceeded my expectations.
Inspiring Indeed
Here I am taking a look thru Kelly Hoppen Home by Kelly Hoppen. A classic:)

I really enjoyed how they displayed there tables.
There was alot to look at. Tons of fun accessories.
I think she is a nice edition to the front display:)

Room of the Week

You see federal design all over DC and its always nice to see a fresh modern take on the traditional. Ashley Whittaker has done just that in this gorgeous Dining Room.
