Decembers issue of House Beautiful is packed full of some great holiday ideas! I am loving this Magazine right now:)

Magazine Monday

I pick Septembers issue of Elle Interior as this Monday's pick simply for the cover!

Magazine Monday. Im in love.....

....with Jenna Lyons house!!!! Yep, in love! If you haven't received or boughten the November issue of Domino yet you are in for quite a treat. When I flew into the Reagan airport on Friday and saw it I was pretty stoked:) Jenna (J Crew Director) has a FABULOUS home. The living room alone is amazing. My second favorite room is her son's bedroom.
Also a HUGE congrats to Grace Bonney of Design Sponge and Holly Becker from Decor 8 and all of the other lovely bloggers who were featured in Domino! Its an all around great issue.

(Don't forget to enter my GIVEAWAY!!!)

Fellow*

James Saavedra also known as Decor Fellow has done it again! The second issue of Fellow* is done and is AMAZING! Seriously, I spent my afternoon reading and staring at all the great images. This issue is largely about all things bright, beautiful and uniquely there own. There is a great article on Jamie Drake. Also MY OFFICE is on page 18. Thanks James:)

Magazine Monday

Chicago's CS Interiors (summer issue) is my pick this week! Minimalist designer Lukas Machnik and designerAnne Coyles homes are outright ridiculous (in a great way)!!! Also "Paper Chased" hightlights a few incredible pieces made entirely out of paper!

Magazine Monday

This evening I have been skimming the pages of Septembers issue of Canadian House & Home'sThe Fashion Issue. Its a good one people!!! They take a look inside the homes of top designers, stylists and editors. Of course fashionista's know what they want in there homes, or so we would hope. The 2 designers of Smythe'sclothing line, Andrea Lenczner and Christie Smythe, have 2 lovely, stylish and bold abodes. One loves pinks, oranges and reds while the other loves pale neutrals and calm blues. Both have fantastic homes! Another fun article is Haute Couleur. "Bring home iconic fashion hues to dress up spaces with signature style." The 4 color choices are Hermes Orange, Kate Spade Green, Tiffany Blue and Cartier Red. (Which hue do you prefer??)
Check this one out!!

Magazine Monday

The latest issue of Elle Decor is my pick for Magazine Monday. I already posted on Nanette Lepore's home designed by Jonathan Adler which is spectacular. I also love Nate Berkus's Chicago home. All in all go get this issue!

Magazine Monday

Today's Magazine Monday is dedicated to Septembers issue of Domino. This issue is filled with bright and bold ideas. The front cover sets the tone for what you will find inside. British designer Matthew Williamson's home is a melting pot of color, patterns, textiles and a plethora of styles. Vanessa Bruno's home is simple, clean and stylish. My favorite space is Tori Mellott's 450 square foot apartment. She got her inspiration for her calm beige and gray space from Tom Delavan's home.
The vanity + stool write up previewed a collection of adorable pairs! I give this issue 2 SimplyGrove thumbs up!

Magazine Monday

Designer Rugs
Happy Monday everyone! I am running a bit late on my posting but never fail, Magazine Monday is here!! Today's pick is Inside Outs Annual Decorating & Renovating Guide Vol 2. I think that I am on an Australian kick because this is another Aussie beauty. You can find Inside Out at your nearest Barnes. The highlight for me in this issue is the "A-Z of Decorating". Top stylists give the lowdown on the latest buzzwords. For example- F is for fabrics. "Fabric is the make-up for a space- it can refine, define add warmth, lightness, sparkle or texture," says Inside Out editor Vanessa Coyler Tay. And R is for Re-Use. People are cottoning on the benefits of buying pre-loved designer gems.
Another great article is "Fashion Nesters" which previews fashion designer's homes. French fashion designer Vanessa Bruno's Paris apartment is pure loveliness with its neutral tones and ultra feminine touches.
"Thinking Big" shows the home of Belgian Style-Spotter Bea Mombaers. The homes modern lines, mid-century furniture and punches of color make for a picture perfect abode.
This issue is the perfect edition for any coffee table.

Magazine Monday

Every Monday I will be posting my favorite magazine of the week and why. Maybe it was an article that stood out to me or a room that I fell in love with.
This weeks pick is Belle. June/July's issue (yes, I am a little behind) is all about what Luxury means today.
Hmmm, good question. For some Luxury is in the little things. Flowers, soft blankets, pieces passed down from family, spending a whole day with loved ones. For others Luxury comes only from expensive things. Cars, real estate, designer pieces. What does luxury mean to you?

Anyways, Belle visited the homes of Randolph Duke and Emanuele Castellini to name a couple. Randolph's home is glamor ten times over! (The A to Z of style posted about his house.) He calls his look 'Glam- Organic combining natural elements with sleek polished pieces and antiques.
My favorite featured home was a Toorak home. The formal living room has this crazy (in a good way) late 17th century french timber and gilt mirror from Robertson. Its gorgeous!!!
And since I am very much into French design at this moment, "French Twist" was just the eye candy I needed.
There is so much more to gaze at so you need to go to your local Barnes and take a gander!
